Corso di snowboard alpinismo e splitboard 1-15-22 febbraio – 1 marzo

The snowboard mountaineering and splitboard course is specifically aimed at all those who want to learn to move independently in an environment with a snowboard on their feet. For the ascent, we will evaluate when and whether to climb with the splitboard, snowshoes or perhaps other recently developed solutions.

The course is open to those who have a decent technique of downhill snowboarding and want to experience everything off the beaten tracks and ski lifts.
This course includes four field trips.
Each activity will have a particular focus on a topic.
1. Ascent
2. Descent
3. Self-rescue in an avalanche
4. Trip planning and basic lessons regarding snow study

GOALS

Learn how to plan a trip, how to behave on adventure terrain, risk mitigation and behavior in the event of avalanches, ascent and descent technique, basic notions for handling on a glacier and on steeper terrain.

WHERE

The locations will be chosen from time to time, depending on the snow and meteorological conditions.
Common locations include Lombardy, Piedmont, Val d'Aosta, and Switzerland (Ticino and Canton of Grisons). For safety reasons, the mountain guide reserves the right to vary the dates and itineraries depending on the snow and weather conditions.

Abbigliamento da snowboard, maschera o occhiali da sole, casco

TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT

Zaino da  sci, ARTVA, pala, sonda, scarponi  da sci alpinismo, splitboard e bastoni telescopici. Pelli di foca, rampant.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL
