GOALS
Various topics will be addressed such as the specific gear used for crack climbing where there are no fixed anchors such as bolts, fixes, resin-coated bolts are made, how they work and how they are "placed" during climbing. Also, you would learn how to organize your gear on your harness in order to be the most effective during climbing. Additionally, you will learn how to tape your palms if you don't use crack gloves.
Lastly, you will learn crack climbing techniques from fine interlocking of fingers, hands, and fists up to the "offwidth" cracks, which are wider than the size of your fists.

Prerequisite Skills
Strong command of crag climbing required including knowledge regarding proper belaying techniques, proper knot knowledge, basic rope management, and an ability to comfortably lead 6a.
