Perhaps when you were first offered to climb in Bulgaria, you had to consult the map to understand where all the climbable rock was.

While it may not be as well known, it is a real limestone paradise.

It is a magical place with perfect rock cliffs, unique walls, and charming caves.

Deciding to go on a climbing adventure in Bulgaria means everything becomes an experience starting from the car journey that will take us from Sofia to the town of Lakatnik which has the first of many amazing cliffs. One of these cliffs was developed by some of the Milano Adventure guides, within their "bolting in the world" project of the Ragni di Lecco.

Our idea of this trip is very "free. If you want to climb some of the most beautiful Balkan crags all together, we will do it. If you want to climb a long route between the spiers of Vratsa, we will do that too. Let us know what your preferences are.

GOALS

The purpose of the holiday/course is to allow participants to continue their climbing activity independently. The course is structured in two phases: the first phase consists of "top-rope" climbing in order to correct and refine climbing techniques as much as possible. The second phase consists of trying to lead climb. Acquire confidence and awareness of movement: optimal motor strategies based on vertical or overhanging terrain as well as the main maneuvers for climbing safely. Climbing will last approximately 6-7 hours a day. Meet other climbers with whom you can share your climbing passion, visit beautiful places where you can improve your climbing skill, meet other climbers of your climbing level, and perhaps meet more advanced climbers who can help you continue to improve in your own climbing after the completion of this course. Please remember, that the main objective of this trip will be to have fun while always prioritizing safety first.
